A thin flexible zinc battery enabled by simultaneously electro-depositing both electrodes in acetate electrolytes

Abstract Electrolytic batteries with the anode or cathode formed by electro-deposition from electrolytes show promising potential for simplifying fabrication process of flexible and micro-size rechargeable batteries. Thin zinc both electro-deposited simultaneously are demonstrated investigated here. We find that acetate anions (Ac - ) excellent electro-depositing efficiency manganese oxide cathodes, which enable a capacity 0.26 mAh/cm 2 only carbon current collectors electrolytes.
